EMSI JOINS IWBI MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM AS A KEYSTONE MEMBER

(SHANGHAI, August 28th 2019) – EMSI announced its involvement in the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) membership program as a Keystone member. EMSI joins like-minded companies from across the globe that are committed to enhancing buildings and communities to help people thrive.


The membership program at IWBI convenes, celebrates and fosters collaboration with companies and organizations who are leading the movement to advance human health in buildings and communities around the world. This dynamic framework allows EMSI to tap into IWBI’s expansive resources and knowledge and demonstrates EMSI’s alignment with IWBI’s mission.

EMSI is the first batch of Approved WELL Performance Testing Organization (PTO). For WELL v1, EMSI is part of team to provide WELL Performance Testing Services to GBCI. For WELL v2, EMSI is an approved WELL PTO by IWBI to provide WELL on-site performance tests.


EMSI achieved the world's first pilot WELL MFR gold certification for Sino-ocean Tianjiao project, and the China’s first LEED and WELL double gold certification for Hangzhou Sino-ocean office project in 2018. Besides, EMSI helped the Core Area of Beijing CBD Z3 Project achieve the first WELL Precertification in mainland China. Until the posting date, EMSI has certified 20 WELL projects with 5,179,363 ft2 area, which accounts 78% certified WELL area in China.
